Opt-In Policy
There are 3 types of consent for a business to send you SMS messages: conversational, informational, and promotional.
Conversational is where you initiate the exchange by texting us with a sales or support inquiry. Consent is implied, for the duration of that conversation. This is currently the only way KWISP uses text messages.
Informational would be notifying you of an outage, a reschedule in a technician appointment, a pending account suspension due to nonpayment, etc. KWISP does not currently send informational text messages, but in the future we might offer to send texts to customers affected by an outage. In that case, we will implement a formal opt-in procedure with confirmation by email or phone, and of course the ability to opt out by texting STOP to unsubscribe.
Promotional would be sales and marketing messages. KWISP does not send promotional texts and we do not anticipate doing this in the future.
Privacy Policy
KWISP uses contact information for customer support, we do not use text messages for sales or marketing purposes except to answer questions. We do not share contact information lists with partners, vendors or subcontractors.
SMS Keywords
You can send a text message containing one of the following keywords and we will act accordingly:
START: subscribe to the mailing list (not really applicable because we currently don't send informational or promotional texts)
STOP: unsubscribe and stop receiving SMS messages from KWISP
HELP: request instructions how to contact us by email or phone for support
